Children's Story Time

Wednesdays at 10 AM

Every Wednesday at 10 a.m. join the Whitewood Public Library for Story Time for kids of all ages!  We read a book based on that week’s theme, do a craft activity, and have a snack.  Follow our Facebook page to learn more about Story Time.

Postage Pals

First Tuesday every month at 6:30 PM

The first Tuesday of every month, come at 6:30PM to decorate and write cards and make something to mail! Bring an address to send your card to! All materials provided. All ages of children welcome!

 

 

Adults

Book Club for Adults

The second Tuesday of every month at 10 am

Join us at the library to discuss your favorite book, author, or genre!  Come enjoy coffee, cookies, and good conversation! 

Tech Tuesdays

Join us on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8 pm starting Feb. 10th to learn to navigate your smartphone and computer with confidence! 

The first Tuesday every month will offer basic tech assistance, and every other Tuesday will offer a short lesson and then open tech support afterwards. 

 Feb. 10- Open help time- basic tech assistance

Feb. 17- Recognizing and Avoiding Online Scams

Feb. 24- Making Your Smartphone Work for You: Enlarging text for readability and updating your phone

 

Tuesday Talks at Ten

Informative talks about local landmarks, history and interesting people the third Tuesday of every month at 10 am!

Whitewood Public Library is proud to be chosen to be part of Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities, and American Library Association initiative that provides community engagement and accessibility resources to small and rural libraries to help them better serve people with disabilities.
