Children's Story Time

Wednesdays at 10 AM

Every Wednesday at 10 a.m. join the Whitewood Public Library for Story Time for kids of all ages!  We read a book based on that week’s theme, do a craft activity, and have a snack.  Follow our Facebook page to learn more about Story Time.

 

St Patrick's Day Kids Crat Table

Join us on March 12 from 3-4:30 pm for a kids craft table! 

 

Special St Patrick's Story Time

Join us at 10 am on March 19 for a St. Patty’s Day Storytime! The Whitewood  Elementary Choir will be singing 3 songs and doing a themed story, and there will be crafts and cookies!

 

Spinning Wheel Demo

Come see a real-live spinning wheel demonstration at 1:30 pm, March 25! You will learn about the history of the spinning wheel, the fibers used, the process it goes through, and the care of the sheep. Watch an actual demonstration of how the spinning wheel works. There will be samples of fibers and wool, and examples of how you can use the wool 

 

Postage Pals

First Tuesday every month at 6:30 PM

The first Tuesday of every month, come at 6:30PM to decorate and write cards and make something to mail! Bring an address to send your card to, and answer a letter from a senior citizen! All materials provided. All ages of children welcome!

Waffle Wednesday

Join us for Waffle Wednesday on March 26th between 3-4 pm!

Book Club for Adults

The second Tuesday of every month at 10 am

Join us at the library to discuss your favorite book, author, or genre!  Come enjoy coffee, cookies, and good conversation! 

Tuesday Talks at Ten

Informative talks about local landmarks, history and interesting people the third Tuesday of every month at 10 am! 

March 18th we will have author David Wolff joining us to share more about Deadwood and a discussion about the 3 books he wrote!
